More specifically, the Blue-bike network has expanded significantly in the Ghent Transport Region, Limburg Transport Region and Leuven Transport Region. Thanks to this expansion, it is becoming even easier to complete the final miles of your journey smoothly, sustainably and affordably.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Blue-bike in the Flemish transport regions <\/p>\n<p>In 2019 were the <strong>300 Flemish towns and municipalities divided into 15 transport regions<\/strong>. Within these transport regions, local authorities are involved in steering to tackle mobility challenges in their area. Each transport region works for this with a <strong>Regional Mobility Plan<\/strong>, which sets out the priorities and solutions for sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n<p>Blue-bike plays an active role in this. In close collaboration with the local authorities in each transport region, our fietsen bikes are also being integrated into the range of <strong>Tailored Transport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In these transport regions you will now get to your final destination even more smoothly with a Blue-bike:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a style=\"color: #0078a3;\" href=\"https:\/\/blue-bike.be\/en\/ghent-transport-region\/\">Ghent Transport Region<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a style=\"color: #0078a3;\" href=\"https:\/\/blue-bike.be\/en\/transport-region-limburg\/\">Transport Region Limburg<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blue-bike.be\/en\/leuven-transport-region\/\"><strong>Leuven Transport Region<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll find our fietsen bikes at train stations, bus stops and Hoppin points. You can find more information about the different transport regions and local transport options <strong><a style=\"color: #0078a3;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vlaanderen.be\/basisbereikbaarheid\/mobiliteitsuitdagingen-regionaal-aanpakken\/vervoerregios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p> Blue-bike as a national network <\/p>\n<p>Blue-bike remains, of course, much more than a local mobility solution. With more than <strong>250 locations spread across the whole of Belgium<\/strong> We\u2019re creating a single national network of bikes. The borrowing process via the app is the same everywhere, and you use the same account to borrow a bike anywhere in the country.
