2025 was a special year for Blue-bike. We continued to work hard to build the future of shared mobility in Belgium. With new pricing, a significantly expanded network, greater flexibility for users and a record number of journeys, we once again took important steps forward.
Greater flexibility for users
One of the key milestones was the introduction of a completely overhauled pricing structure. This makes Blue-bike more accessible to both occasional and frequent users.
In addition, new payment options were introduced, making it even easier to borrow a bike.
The network continues to grow
In 2025, the Blue-bike network expanded significantly once again. Today, Blue-bikes are available at no fewer than 268 locations across Belgium.
Impressive figures
More than half of these locations are part of a back-to-many zone. This allows users to plan their journeys with even greater flexibility and to collect and return fiets vehicles at different locations within the same region.
2025 ended on a high note:
- 429,447 journeys
- More than 40,000 active fiets customers
- 3,325 cityfietsen
- 710 e-bikes
- 268 locations across Belgium
These figures show that more and more people are opting for sustainable and shared mobility.
