How does it work? You pay per 30-minute block, until you reach the maximum rate for the first 12 hours. With the Member formula, the next 12-hour block is included and you pay a maximum of €3.50 for the first 24 hours.
🏛️Third-party agreement
At most locations, Blue-bike Members enjoy even lower rates thanks to a contribution from the local authority via a direct payment arrangement. The app always shows the rates per location for your chosen subscription.

📍 How do you recognise a back-to-many zone in the app?
If you select a location in a ‘back-to-many’ zone, the map will automatically zoom out to show you which other locations belong to the same zone. Locations outside the zone will be greyed out. This way, you’ll always know where you can return your bike without additional charge.
Outside a zone? At locations outside a back-to-many zone, you must return your bicycle to the starting location. If you do not do this, a surcharge of €20 (city bike) or €40 (e-bike) will apply. See surcharges.
Rates table above: Applies to Transport Region Ghent, Transport Region Leuven and Brussels Airport. In the City of Mechelen and the City of Geel, the back-to-many principle applies (no extra charge for returning to another location in the zone), but the national rates apply.

How does it work?
How we calculate
your fare
Per 30 minutes: You pay per 30 minutes until you reach the maximum rate for 12 hours.
After 12 hours: A new rate block starts after every 12h. As a Member, after the first 24h you pay per additional 12h €3.50 for a city bike and €7 for an e-bike. With the Ticket formula, you pay per additional 12h €6 for a city bike and €12 for an e-bike.
Automatic renewal: The Member and Member Plus tariff plans are automatically renewed at the set frequency. You can cancel at any time via the app. Ticket has no renewal, as you pay per ride.
