Herentals: where cycling heroes gather

Did you know that Herentals is the place to be if you want to visit one of Flanders’ most important fiets towns? And no, we’re not referring to that yellow menace from the cycling peloton (which is actually no good at all), but rather to the many fiets motorways that converge there.

These ‘bikeostrades’ are handy for quickly reaching neighbouring areas, including by Blue-bike. From the station, the bike takes you smoothly via the F105 to the industrial estate around Umicore in Olen or to the many businesses along the Albert Canal (F5 Antwerp–Hasselt). The connection to the Mondelez biscuit factory and the Klein-Gent & Wolfstee industrial estate will also be completed shortly (F103 to Lier and F106 to Aarschot).

At Herentals station, as a member, you can already hire a Blue-bike for just €1.50. Also for the countless Kemponian businesses in the area, we offer a handy (and sustainable!) mobility solution.
