Blue-bike is a bike-sharing system with more than 3,500 city bikes and e-bikes spread across 300+ locations in Belgium. Download the app, create a free account, choose your plan and unlock your bike in 10 seconds via the app.
Creating an account is free. The Ticket plan has no fixed cost, you pay per ride. As a Member you pay €12/year (or €2/month) and you ride at half price. Member Plus costs €35/month with unlimited rides up to 12 hours. You can find the exact rate per location in the app.
Yes! Blue-bike offers circular e-bikes at a growing number of locations, including Ghent, Leuven, Antwerp, Bruges, Kortrijk and Ostend. You can recognise e-bike locations by the pink lightning bolt in the app. The assistance switches on automatically when you start pedalling.
In back-to-many zones (Ghent transport region, Leuven transport region and Brussels Airport) you can return your bike at no extra cost to another location within the same zone. At other locations, you return the bike to the starting location.
Yes, all bikes are equipped with a digital lock that you unlock via the Blue-bike app. You need a smartphone with a Bluetooth and internet connection.
Absolutely! Companies can set up a main account with sub-accounts for staff, or order vouchers for occasional users. Blue-bike is 100% tax-deductible and fits perfectly into a CAFETARIAPLAN. You can find more information on our business page.
